If your iOS subscription is active but you're not receiving its benefits — such as being prompted to purchase games, subscribe again, missing subscriber perks in free-to-play games, or encountering unexpected ads — try these steps to restore your subscription access:
Step 1: Verify Your Apple Account:
Ensure you're signed into the App Store with the account used for your subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your Apple ID name at the top.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Look for the GameHouse subscription in the list of active subscriptions - if the subscription is not listed, log in with a different Apple ID that you might have used to subscribe.
Step 2: Sign In to Game Center:
Game Center integration helps synchronize your subscription across devices.
- Open Settings. Scroll to Game Center, then tap it.
- If Game Center isn't on, turn it on, then sign in with your Apple Account that has the GameHouse subscription.
Step 3: Restore Subscription Within the App or Game:
- Open the GameHouse app or the specific game where you initiated the subscription.
- Navigate to the main menu (☰) or settings.
- Tap "Restore Purchase" to reinstate your subscription benefits and choose the correct Apple account if prompted.
Step 4: Reinstall the Game and Allow Tracking
If issues persist, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the game to refresh its data. Make sure to Allow Tracking/ Personalized Ads when prompted so that our system can recognize your Advertising ID and see that you have an active subscription. To manage tracking and ensure this prompt appears, follow the below steps:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Navigate to "Privacy & Security"
- Tap "Tracking"
- Ensure that "Allow Apps to Request to Track" is toggled on (green). This lets apps ask for tracking permissions.
- Grant tracking permission for GameHouse apps/games. Find these apps in the list under Tracking and ensure the toggle for GameHouse apps is on (green).
If none of these steps help, please contact us using the support button from both the app you restored the subscription from and the app that fails to detect your subscription. This is necessary so we can check whether your GameHouse ID attached to that specific app/game has an active subscription.
