If you’re experiencing issues with sound not playing in your game, try the following steps to resolve the problem.
Step 1: Check Your Device Volume Settings
- Adjust Media Volume:
- Use the volume up button on the side of your device.
- Ensure the media volume slider (not ringtone or notifications) is turned up in Control Center.
- Silent Mode:
- Ensure your device’s Ring/Silent switch (on the side of your iPhone) is set to Ring.
- Focus Mode:
- Ensure Focus Mode (Do Not Disturb) is turned off. Swipe down from the top-right corner and check the Focus status.
Step 2: Check Sound Settings Within the Game
- Open the game’s settings menu (usually found in the main menu).
- Ensure that both sound effects and music options are turned on.
Step 3: Restart the Game
- Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (or double-press the Home button on older devices) to view recent apps.
- Swipe up on the game to close it.
- Reopen the game and check for sound.
Step 4: Restart Your Device
Turn off your iPhone or iPad, wait for a few seconds, and turn it back on to refresh the system.
Step 5: Check for Updates
- Update the Game: Open the App Store, tap your profile icon, and scroll to see if updates are available for the game. Tap Update if listed.
- Update Your Device: Go to Settings > General > Software Update to ensure your iOS is up to date.
Step 6: Disconnect Bluetooth Devices
If a Bluetooth device (e.g., headphones or speakers) is connected, the game’s sound may be routed to that device.
- Open Control Center and ensure the audio output is set to your device’s speakers.
If it's still unsuccessful, open another app and check the sound there. If it does not work in the other app, the issue seems device related. Should you hear sound in another app, contact GameHouse Support through the app or our support page. Provide details about your device model, Android version, and the issue for quicker resolution.
